VIDEOS: Star Search at Swampscott Movie Location
Another day of filming for the movie Ted on Atlantic Avenue in Swampscott Thursday afternoon, and people are on the scene hoping to see stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.
What’s not to love about Swampscott, good people, great beaches and every now and then a major motion picture chooses to shoot in town?
Another day of shooting the movie at 441 Atlantic Avenue brought out celebrity watchers, movie buffs and those just looking to get in a good walk along the beach Thursday.
and Mila Kunis star in the film about a man and a woman who have their relationship turned upside down when a teddy bear comes to life.

The film is being directed by Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy fame, and will feature several area locations in the film, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2012.
“It’s so exciting, Janet Schwartz said. “I saw when they were filming Moonlight Mile in Swampscott and Marblehead, and I actually saw Dustin Hoffman getting a coffee when he was in Swampscott.”

Joel McHale, Patrick Warburton and Jessica Stroup will also star in Ted, with the director, Seth MacFarlane, voicing the character Ted, the teddy bear from Wahlberg's childhood that comes to life.
Some of the interior locations for Ted are being shot at 441 Atlantic Avenue, the home is right on Preston Beach.
“I can’t wait for the movie to come out,“ Jan Waldman of Phillips Avenue said, “I’m looking forward to see it, we're not New York City, this is a big deal around here.”
Waldman was out walking her dog Scarlett while workers shuffled in and out of the home with wires, cameras and lighting for the shoot at 441 Atlantic Avenue.
The movie will be a mix of animation and live action, and original reports say the film will have an R rating, when it hits theaters next summer.
Wahlberg arrived on the set Wednesday afternoon in a black SUV, much to the delight of fans who braved the rain to get a glimpse of the Hollywood star.
Director Seth MacFarlane has a long history with the film’s co-star Mila Kunis; she’s voiced Meg Griffin on Family Guy since 2000, when she replaced Lacey Chabert.
This is such a beautiful area," Marilyn Weinshel said as she walked along the beach with her granddaughter Casey Haskell. "We see it every day, but now everybody's going to see how beautiful it is around here when this movie comes out."
