A Warrior For Peace To Speak Tonight
Speaker Calvin Terrell will talk about violence and what can be done to lessen the chance of violence
The Swampscott Public Schools and the Swampscott High School Peer Leadership Initiative invites families to a special presentation at Swampscott High School tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 18. Speaker Calvin Terrell will present "Violence or Virtue: A Community Challenge" from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Participants will talk about violence in all its forms — emotional, mental, social, and physical violence. The goal will be to get people to think about what violence might be taking place as a result of their actions, what violence is occurring around them, and what precautions they could take to lessen the chance of violence, in its various forms.
