VIDEO: Independent Guy Looking For His Bachelor Pad

Lenny is an independent beagle-terrier mix looking for his new home.

Meet Lenny: he's an independent beagle-terrier mix looking for his forever home. He's energetic, likes to play, and is four-years-young. Lenny isn't a huge fan of other dogs, so he's looking for a bachelor pad of his own. He'd be a great companion for a single guy or gal, like himself, or perhaps a couple without kids. Plus, Lenny is a featured pet in this month's Adopt a Shelter Dog special, meaning he'll come home with a free bag of dog food, some toys, a bowl, leash, and dog bed. Be sure to check out our video to learn about Lenny. For more information on pets in needs of a loving home, call Northeast Animal Shelter at 978-745-9888or visit northeastanimalshelter.org.

This Saint Bernard mix is looking for a special owner who will give her some extra attention.

Dallas is a 1-year-old Saint Bernard-Lab mix looking for a forever home that will provide a little extra love.   Northeast Animal Shelter Communications Director Stephen Oakes said Dallas was born with a condition that makes her eyes unable to produce moisture, meaning she will always need to take eye drops and medication.  This sweet girl has been loved by many who've met her, but her eye condition has turned some prospective owners away.   Oakes said the Shelter is willing to help Dallas' new family with the costs of the medicine, and as a featured pet in the Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, she'll also come with a bag of food, a dog bed, treats, a bowl and a leash.  Be sure to check out our video to learn about Dallas.
