We ask: What business would you like to see move into the former Blockbuster space on Paradise Road?
The store space at 1016 Paradise Road has been vacant for a long time. Former tenant Blockbuster closed its doors Feb. 13, 2011, after having done business in Swampscott since at least 1998. The 4,700-square-foot space remains empty. We'd like to know what you think is the kind of business that should move to this location? Write your thought in the comments section below.

The question is not what we want but which businesses want to go there. Judging by a considerable number of the empty spaces in Swampscott, the answer is "not too many." more ›
