  Taylor Lautner Unlike many of the cast members in Grown Ups 2, Lautner did not appear in the first movie, Grown Ups. In the sequel he will play the role of a fraternity brother, according to actor Milo Ventimiglia. Lautner was in Swampscott, MA on Friday, July 6, and posed for numerous photos with fans. Actors were shooting at a home on Aspen Road. Lots of parents and children and teens and neighbors were among the crowd of onlookers watching the action from the sidewalk and lawns. Among them was Tracy Cassidy with her son and a friend of his. She said Lautner was outgoing and accommodating to his fans. "Taylor was very kind (to) the fans!  Thank you Taylor! Grown Ups 2 Mania Returns To Swampscott

Fans were out to see Taylor Lautner and Cameron Boyce and Jake Goldberg.

  They don't just love Taylor Lautner, the teen heart throb with a small role in Grown Ups 2. The fans — girls and young women from 14 to 21 —  LLLLLLLLLoooovvvvve, him. If their declarations were set to music the word "love" would be a whole note slowed to a crawl and dropped in an echo chamber. And the younger fans feel the same about young actor Cameron Boyce. So at 10:30 pm Thursday, clusters of fans stood at the end of Littles Point Road hoping for a glimpse of Taylor or Cameron. Taylor Lautner Goes To College In Swampscott For A Day

Marian Court College was the setting for filming of Grown Ups 2 on Thursday, and was to include a “College Fraternity House” scene.

  Fans who amassed by Littles Point Road Thursday night for a look Grown Ups 2 stars said they had tried to get close to filming at Marian Court College earlier in the day but the set was closed. Several of them said they had heard that Twilight star and Grown Ups 2 actor Taylor Lautner was filming at the college on Thursday. Actor Milo Ventimiglia told MTV in an earlier interview that he and Taylor Lautner were to play fraternity brothers in a Grown Ups 2 scene.   It remains to be seen whether Twilight star and Grown Ups 2 actor Taylor Lautner will make an appearance at Swampscott’s Marian Court College this summer. But actor Milo Ventimiglia told MTV that he and Lautner will play fraternity brothers in Grown Ups 2. Marian Court announced earlier that its exterior will serve as a college fraternity house in a scene slated to be shot in mid-July. The stately building — once the summer White House for President Calvin Coolidge — is pegged for a less dignified use in Grown Ups 2. Grown Ups 2 Pool Set at Phillips Taking Shape

Stacked container cars will form a building for the set, enclosing the pool which will be set off the ground.

  The Grown Ups 2 movie set at Phillips Park will include an "in-ground pool" set well above ground. Ten-foot-high shipping container cars stacked at Phillips Park Thursday were forming walls for the Hollywood set being constructed on the practice football field behind the Bertram House. The set will host multiple days of filming pool scenes. These scenes were once targeted for Piper Field in Marblehead but are now to be shot in Swampscott. The set construction has a long ways to go before any stars in the movie cast that includes Adam Sandler, David Spade, Taylor Lautner, Chris Rock and Salma Hayek float, flop or swim in a pool. Grown Ups 2 to Shoot 15-19 Days In Swampscott

Shooting will start in May and continue through August, with projected scenes shot at the train station, the middle school and some out-of-the-way locations in town.

  Selectman Jill Sullivan had one main question for the movie guy who told the board Wednesday he has been scouting for sets to shoot Grown Ups 2 in Swampscott. Her question — on behalf of her teenage daughter — asked about the presence of teenage heart-throb actor Taylor Lautner in Swampscott. Location manager Mark Fitzgerald said Taylor would be in town a day or two.  Columbia Pictures/Sony Entertainment has designated 15 days of shooting in Swampscott. That number could jump to 19 days, he said. The movie will be in production in Marblehead and Swampscott from May 21 to Aug. 17.
