Car Break-Ins and a Gunshot over the Town Line

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police logs. Where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, March 27   *An officer on patrol in the Mudge Street area heard reports of someone screamingm, according to Swampscott police Det. Bill Waters. The officer ascertained that an individual on Mudge Street, just over the Line in Lynn, had been shot at by an unknown assailant. Officers from Swampscott joined Lynn police officers at the scene to search for a suspect. He was not injured and a gun was recovered at the scene by  a Swampscott officer and turned over to Lynn Police. Case is under investigation by Lynn PD.
