North Shore Walk For Parkinson's Disease

This article was submitted by Anna Wolfe. The 6th Annual North Shore Walk for Parkinson’s Disease will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012. The 3-mile walk starts at the First Church Congregational, 40 Monument Avenue in Swampscott. Registration is $25 and starts at 10 am; walk begins at 10:30 am. Free T-shirts for the first 100 walkers. We are pleased to welcome two members from The Michael J. Fox Foundation this year. Alison Urkowitz, Vice President of Research Operations, will speak about research updates, and Miranda Lanzillotti, a Team Fox Officer, will have a table of information on Parkinson's disease.
