Go for a Dip - The Swampscott Yacht Club will host their annual "Polar Plunge" on Sunday. Registration is at 10:15 am, Polar Plunge at 11:00 am. There will be hot chocolate! 2. Go for a Run - Want to start the year with a brisk run? Meet at Old Town Hall in Salem at 10 a.m. Sunday for a Frosty Four mile run. Entry is $25. 3. Order Chinese - The traditional dish of New Year's Eve and there are plenty of places to get some locally. Yan's, Gourmet Garden and Fantasy Island, over the line, are just a few options. 4.
