The beach looks upon Nahant Bay, where moored and anchored boats roll upon incoming and outgoing tides. Above the beach is a grassy area where memorials and monuments invite inspection and contemplation. The town offers sailing programs at the beach. The club has about 230 members and roughly half of them sail. Club headquarters are on the second floor of the historic Fish House at Fisherman's Beach.
