Bat-mo-bikes, spooks and spokes, and wheeling banshees will roll through town Sunday in the MDA Witch Ride, following a coastal route on their way from Everett to Salem.
Maybe you want to see them; maybe you want to steer clear.
Thousands of thundering motorcycles will make their appearance in Swampscott and Marbleheahead Sunday — the best estimate we have heard is that the riders will be here from 1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The ride route is subject to change but the typical route takes it along Humphrey Street through Swampscott and into Marblehead.
As such, traffic delays can be expected along Humphrey St. between 1 PM and 3PM.
The ride is in its 25th year and over the years has raised more than a half million dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The ride starts at Boston Harley-Davidson in Everett and ends at Shetland Park in Salem.
