Drama:
- The Repertory Experience Players, part of Marblehead Little Theatre's Youth Theatre Program, is a group of young actors and actresses from Marblehead and surrounding communities. This weekend they perform "Song of America," composed by Mac Huff. Food:
- On Saturday from 9 to noon at the Marblehead Veterans Middle School 217 Pleasant Street — enter from Vine Street — is the Marblehead Farmers' Market.
- On Sunday at Swampscott High School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kid's Day at the Farmer's Market Bring the kids down to the market for a bunch of fun activities including games, face painting…
- On Friday, 8 p.m., Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA Field Free Family. Come with the whole family, bring your blankets and chairs and sit back and enjoy "The Goonies" projected onto a giant inflatable movie screen, along with some freshly popped popcorn!
- Dress your dog in a “Nautical and Seaside Fun” theme at Fort Sewall in Marblehead, and show him/her off!(Possible costume ideas: Sailing, Pirates, Surfing, Swimming, Fishing, Ocean Creatures, Water Sports, Clam Bakes, Cookouts, etc.) and welcome special guest and Grand Marshall Ray Charles the Blind Golden Retriever! Registration begins at 1:30pm, and the Parade will begin at 2:00pm. A $5 Donation per entrant is requested and will be donated to the Friends of Marblehead’s Abandoned Animals at the conclusion of the event.
- Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta Saturday, 9 AM Marblehead Harbor

- On Saturday at the Abbot Public Library "Pecheur de lune":Photographs by Natalie Borden Saturday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 31 Public Reception: Saturday, Aug. 3, 3 pm - 5 pm.
