Gather Castleberry Fair in a Bunch of Heather

The fair is Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10-5 and Sunday, Sept. 8, from 10-4. Admission is free. Rain or Shine.

White-peaked tents, people and music will fill Swampscott's Linscott Park Saturday and Sunday at the Castleberry Arts and Crafts Fair.

In  green grass the fair will stand aside Monument Avenue memorials and rub shoulders with Swampscott's signature gazebo, a place to roam and stroll and admire handmade works.

And a place to listen to music, too. Are you going?

Years past, vendors have cooked kettlecorn lending the air a salty sweet smell.

King's Beach, in full view, turns up the salty smell, and historic Town Hall across the way gives the grounds a timeless feel.

Artwork and crafts include paintings, jewelry and pocketbooks made from old hardcover books.

Saturday's forecast calls for sunshine and temperatures in the mid-70s.

The fair is Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10-5 and Sunday, Sept. 8, from 10-4. Admission is free. Rain or Shine.
