"It's a great cause," said Taylor Lang, store manager. "People like to donate, they feel like they're involved."

The Swampscott store has been able to raise $600. Saturday's sidewalk event brought in an extra $120.

Miryam Dowd was one of the people that took her time to donate to the cause.

"You have to donate to something for the kids," Dowd said. "Kids are the most amazing angels."

Lang is appreciative of all the help she can get.

"It makes you feel warm that people care," she said.
