Thx Hungry Betty's & Baseball Try-outs

THANK YOU Jason Rakauskas & HUNGRY BETTY'S !  Swampscott Little League held our first fundraiser of the season at Hungry Betty's (16 Pleasant St., Marblehead). Jason graciously donated 15% of all proceeds.  Great food. Great service.  Thanks to all who came out to support SLL.

TRY-OUTS, BASEBALL.  By now each player wishing to play Little League Baseball, (Farm, Minors, or Majors), should have received an email from Bob Biletch regarding their specific time to attend try-outs this Saturday at SHS. If an email has not been received, please contact Bob immediately, bob.biletch@blockbusterstrategy.com. 

We are sorry, we cannot accommodate requests to change the time of your child’s tryout. If you cannot make your scheduled time slot, please contact Bob and inform him that you will need to attend the make-up session on Tuesday, March 19th.

Fundraising Events.  In order to run a safe and successful program we need the help of the entire community. We will be having a number of fundraisers this year to help fund adding safety netting at the Forest Avenue field complex, as well as funding other capital improvements at our town fields. 

Our next restaurant fundraiser will be at Uno's in Swampscott on Sunday, March 24th. More details to follow.

Also, we will be running a large raffle throughout the baseball & softball season and are looking for donations of Red Sox tickets; Restaurant and other gift cards, Wine Baskets; and/or other new items for the raffle.  Please email Mike Pegnato, SLL President, mdp_5754@yahoo.com , for donations or questions.
