Produce abounds this time of year. The Swampscott Farmers Market had its share and plenty of music and even some drama.

Early on the Marblehead Little Theatre actors performed Pyramus and Thisbe, the story of two ill-fated lovers in Greek mythology.

Lovers of seafood, produce, baked goods and more roamed the parking lot lanes at the market, open on Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm.

In tow the market visitors had children and dogs and bags of handmade and farm grown goods.

Visitors included selectmen and School Board members, among them Jill Sullivan and Larry Beaupre.
