Sing, Dance and Act the Summer Away

The musical theater program for students entering grades three through nine will be held July 9 to Aug. 8.

This summer the Swampscott High School Drama Club will present Annie Kids, a condensed version of the Broadway musical, as part of its twelfth year.

"We love the idea that kids get the chance to sing, dance and act on our stage before their freshman year," said Jim Pearse, director of Swampscott Summer Theater.  

"It's a great way for kids to feel comfortable at the high school before they begin their four years at SHS," he said.
