Instructional league and Farm league – 8 year olds

All 8 year old players are eligible to participate. Swampscott will be entering 1 team (limited to 15 players) into a tournament that will be held in Lynn. The dates for the tournament are from June 22 through July 7th.  Each team is guaranteed 4 games.  Other Little League District 16 towns will be participating in this tournament. It is a great experience for our kids to be able to play together and compete against other towns.

The teams will be split up evenly trying to make sure there is parity amongst the teams.   All games are at Gowdy field in Lynn which is on route 129 just near the Union Hospital. The schedule consists of 12-14 games starting after July 4th and running until the first weekend of August. There is typically one game per week and one game per weekend. Minor league and Major league – 10, 11 and 12 year olds

All Minor and Major League players are eligible to participate. If enough players register Swampscott will be entering teams at the 10, 11 and 12 Year Old age groups into the Little League District 16 Jimmy Fund Tournament. Signups will determine how many teams we will place in each division.  The final dates are yet to be determined but it typically starts after July 4th and runs until the end of July.  Our teams will compete against other District 16 towns with games being played both home and away. Most away games are played at fields that are close by (Saugus, Lynn, Lynnfield).
