NSRPA, North Shore Rental Housing Association Landlord Support Group Meeting Success!
On April 9, the North Shore Rental Property Association had our first meeting at the Lynn Housing Authority.
Sitting in sunny Florida from the offices of Sunstate Realty, (actually working 24/7 from Florida) I finally have a moment to post about the NSRPA!
On April 9, the North Shore Rental Property Association had our first kick off meeting at the Lynn Housing Authority. Our next two meetings which are: May 29th & June 28th will also be hosted here as well.
We had a wonderful turn out. Large portfolio landlords, new landlords, young, old men and women. I am very pleased we are reaching a large range of property owners from all backgrounds and towns up and down the North Shore! Word is spreading.

Our featured speakers were:
Board member and local Lawyer Philip Mann (Philipmannlaw@comcast.net) spoke on Massachusetts Law regarding the handling of security deposits. The laws stump even the most experienced landlords. He broke down the process and explained it in terms we all can understand.

Jeff, from A-1 Exterminators (http://www.a1exterminators.com/) spoke on Norway Rats. We all have an above average level of knowledge on rats! Rats do not discriminate and show up all over, even in the areas one would not think!
Jeff from Jeff Photography (http://www.jeffphotography.net/index.html) video taped our meeting. I want to thank you him for taking the time out of his crazy schedule to record this past meeting as well as our Lynn Arts meeting. He even interviewed some of the landlords who came!
