Opening game for Swampscott Big Blue girls basketball vs. Gloucester High School, Dec. 14, 2010.

The Big Blue ran into a tough Gloucester team in their season opener, losing 54-32.

The Swampscott girls' next game is Friday, when they play on the road against Winthrop High School.
