Town Athletic Fields Closed Through Today
Thursday's historic football game under the lights at Blocksidge is still a go.
After Tuesday's major drenching Director Gino Cresta closed the town's athletic fields for 48 hours.
He will inspect fields later today and decide whether to open them up for play.
As of right now, Thursday night's historic under-the-lights football game between Big Blue and Triton is scheduled for the Blocksidge gridiron, the director said.

Kick-off is 7 pm.
The field was under water Tuesday but local contractor Meninno Construction volunteered to pump out the standing water.

Otherwise, the field drains well, Cresta said.
