Senior Matt Mahoney notched the course record and numerous Swampscott runners achieved their personal best times at Tuesday's meet vs. Marblehead, said Jeff Bartlett, Swampscott's coach.

Coming into Tuesday's meet at Upper Jackson, the boys' team was 5-0 and the girls' team was 2-3.

Marblehead won both the boys and girls competitions.
