The first game on Opening Day for Swampscott Little League in 2012 saw the Cubs and Orioles play to a 4-4 tie.

Since 1954, Swampscott Little League has given children and families the opportunity to participate in sanctioned Little League baseball and softball.  

The league has teams in baseball and softball and serves boys ages 5-12 and girls ages 5-16.
