Big Blue began the second half with three quick unanswered goals but the flurry only closed the gap temporarily. The Tanners went on to score seven more goals before the game was done.

Jesse DePaolo led Swanpscott in scoring with 4 goals; Taylor Eaton added three and junior Bridget Lawless and sophomore Lauren Sullivan had a goal each.

The Blue were down 10-3 at the half and had a tough time keeping up with Peabody's speed, especially with a short bench.
Swampscott also struggled on the draw and had some inexperienced players filling in at key spots.
On the whole, the team played fairly well but it was a match-up that really exploited the Big Blue's weaknesses.
