Peabody West jumped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and the score never got closer as Swampscott's 12-year-old All-Stars fell 11-5 to Peabody West Sunday at Pine Hill Little League in Lynn.

The loss was Swampscott's second of the double elimination tournament, ending its hopes of advancing in tournament play.

It's first loss came Thursday, 7-6, in eight innings against Peabody American.

The Swampscott 12s opened the tournament with two wins. They beat Peabody National and Nahant.
