Local Hoop Player on Championship Squad
The Bay State Jaguars squad that took the state AAU u-15 tournament has a local representative, Ara Talkov.
Swampscott High School's Ara Talkov will head to Florida in July for her AAU basketball team's run at a national championship.
Ara plays for the Bay State Jaguars basketball club.
The Jaguars won the Massachusetts State AAU U-15 Tournament last weekend defeating the Mass Pride Elite and going undefeated in pool and bracket play.

The Jaguar team is comprised of girls from Greater Boston.
The team is now getting ready to represent Massachusetts in the AAU Nationals in Orlando , FL, July 10-15.

The team recently competed in the Boo Williams Nike Invitational Tournament in Virginia and finished in second place.
The tournament hosted teams from countries including Ukraine, Norway and Brazil as well as top teams from the United States.
