It was, after all, an All-Star game, and stars make their names mostly with offense. So no one expected a whole lot of defense as the Northeast Conference Girls Basketball All-Stars gathered in Swampscott for a fun Friday night of friendly hoops, with the gang from the South outpacing their North rivals 85-72.
The South was paced by Gloucester's Hannah Cain, who scored 21 points and sparked a second-half surge that led to the win.
