UPDATED: Field Gets New Infield And Manicured Look

A strong contingent of volunteers from Swampscott Little League Softball helped move 14 tons of field mix to help solve a drainage problem.

This article, a thank you, was submitted by Jim Nisbet on behalf of the Swampscott Little Leaguer Board of Directors.

On behalf of the Swampscott Little League Board members, we would like to thank the following volunteers who donated their time on Saturday to help prep the Forest Avenue softball field and organize the shed for the 2011 Little League season.

Without their hard work, we would not have been able to move the 14 tons of new infield mix.
