Swampscott Little League Baseball Clinic

Swampscott Little League is offering a baseball pitching, hitting and fielding clinic open to all Registered Little League baseball players between the ages of 9-12 years old.  The clinic will be held from 4:00pm -6:00pm at the Swampscott High School Gym and will run for 5 sessions, beginning on Sunday, March 11th and continue on the following Sundays: March 18, March 25, April 1 and April 15.

The clinic is designed to improve and prepare the players fundamentally for the upcoming season.  We are fortunate to have Joe Caponigro running the clinic for us this year.  Joe has over 40 years experience in organized baseball as a player and coach.  He is currently the varsity baseball coach at Lynn English High School.  For the past 27 years Joe has also been managing a summer semi-pro team made up of current and former college players as well as former minor league ballplayers.  Joe was elected into the North Shore Baseball League Hall of Fame in 2004.  Lynn English coaches, players and Swampscott Sox players will be instructing.

The cost for the clinic will be $20 per player for each 2-hour session. If you sign up for all 5 sessions in advance, there will be a discounted price of $80 (savings of $20).  Payments may be made in advance or on site (SHS) the day of the clinic. Players must be registered with Swampscott Little League in order to participate in the clinic.  For questions and registration for the clinic please email Jeff Rubin at: jrubin83@comcast.net, or call 617-240-8757.
