Hip-Hop class for 8 - 12 year olds
Youth Talent School begins a new Hip-Hop class for 8 - 12 year olds this Wednesday.
Beginner Hip Hop:
This is a beginner level class designed to introduce students to all aspects of hip-hop dance. Styles include contemporary hip-hop, popping, locking, tutting, and breaking. Classes will start off with a basic warm-up that targets the essential muscles used in these styles. Stretching and strength training are important when beginning these movements. After the warm-up, the class will break down and learn a combination routine. The combination teaches students the different ways to incorporate these styles together fluently.
Clothing: Basic gym attire; dance sneakers or gym sneakers. No jeans or jewelry please.
