Blue QB Competing for Player of the Year
Michael Walsh is among 10 finalists in the running for HS Football Friday Player of the Year 2011, a FOX25 award determined by online voting.
senior QB/DB Michael Walsh is one of 10 Massachusetts players up for the FOX25 HS Football Friday Player of the Year 2011 award, according to the TV news station's web site.
The winner will be determined by online voting at the High School Friday page .

The voting ends Wednesday at 11:59 a.m. One vote per computer per day.
The winner will be announced Dec. 16.

The Big Blue senior quarterback/defensive back was MVP in the Cape Ann League's Northeast Conference in 2011.
A year earlier, as a junior, he was the NEC's Offensive Player of the Year.
Michael also plays basketball and baseball at Swampscott High.
