Michael Walsh, Dan Santanello and Danny Trentsch were all injured. The team's center, Abdi Yusuf, left the team for personal reasons.

Not only that but senior Val Temin picked up three fouls a minute a half into the game and had to sit considerable minutes, said coach Justin Fucile.

Underclassmen picked up the slack and AJ Baker covered Gloucester's big man.

The game was tied after the first, second and third quarters.

Temin poured in 19 points and the team played with intensity and moved the ball, the coach said.

He called up a few junior varsity players for the game and saw John King play well and Steve Scaglione play a hard-nosed game.

The Blue pulled it out.

Tonight Walsh and Santanello might be able to play tonight against the Sachems, but it is unlikely that Trentsch will recover enough from his injury to play, the coach said.
