Babe Ruth All-Stars Edged in District Championship
The 15-year-olds played Thursday night in Lynn.
The Swampscott/Nahant 15-year old All Stars lost a pitchers' duel Thursday 1-0 against the Lynn All Stars.
Going into the district championship game both teams were undefeated. Swampscott/Nahant hasdbeaten Peabody 9-4, Saugus 9-8, and Danvers 7-4.
But on Thursday Lynn's pitcher threw a shut-out, just edging the performance by Corey Bleau.
