Girl Scout troops of all ages, from the Ocean Bay neighborhood, gathered at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lynn, for Ocean Bay’s Second Annual Holiday Cookie Exchange & Troop Cookie Manager Training on Sunday, December 2.

During this holiday event, Ocean Bay Girl Scouts enjoyed participating in a cookie swap, wrapping TLC presents, a cookie stack, and a cookie toss. This event was the big kick-off to the Girl Scout cookie sales of 2012-2013, the time of the year everyone looks forward to. 

3) Swampscott Scholars: Swampscott High Class of 2012 graduate Tatum Pedersen received the Edward I. Shub Memorial Scholarship.

4) Weather Watch: Mostly sunny, with a high near 34. 

5) Big Blue Watch: The Swampscott girls and boys' basketball teams square up against Marblehead tonight at Swampscott High. The girls play at 6 and the boys at 7:30 p.m.
