Swampscott High School Ranked Among State's Top High Schools

US News & World Report has ranked Swampscott High School among the state's top 100 high schools.


US News & World Report released its annual list of the nation's top high schools Tuesday and Swampscott High School was ranked among the best public high schools in the country.

The report ranked Swampscott High School the 58th best public high school in Massachusetts and number 1,528 in the country.

"Swampscott High School is ranked 58th within Massachusetts. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Swampscott High School is 37 percent. The student body makeup is 47 percent male and 53 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 10 percent. Swampscott High School is the only high school in the Swampscott," the report read.
