The selectman told fellow board members that cell tower construction companies would be interested in moving the town's telecommunications equipment from the former Middle School on Greenwood Avenue to a tower as part of a deal for locating the tower in town.

Furthermore, they would pay the town rent if they were to build the tower on town land, he said. That amount could range from $25,000 to $50,000 a year, the selectman said.
