Public Forum Thursday on Hiring the Next Superintendent

What qualities would you like to see the next superintendent of schools possess?
School Committee members want to know.

Please see the following message from the School Committee:
The Swampscott School Committee is preparing to find a permanent replacement to take over leadership of the district from our interim Superintendent next year, and is seeking community input on the experience and abilities townspeople believe will be important for our next Superintendent to be successful in our town.
This Thursday, October 24th, the School Committee will be hosting a public forum to discuss the experience, abilities and other qualities we should be seeking in our new Superintendent.  We encourage all members of the Swampscott community to attend the forum and to make your views known.  If you are unable to attend the forum, we encourage you to express your thoughts to a member of the School Committee, either directly or by e-mail.  E-mail addresses of all members are listed on the district website:  Swampscott.k12.ma.us, and clicking on the link for School Committee on the left side of the landing page.
The forum will be held this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library.  We hope to see you there.
