Pre-Prom Photos Move Inside Due to Weather
Due to the threat of thunderstorms, students will gather at the high school instead of the Town Hall lawn.
The high school principal has announced that tonight's pre-prom gathering will be inside Swampscott High instead of on the Town Hall lawn.
In a notice sent out to students and parents the students are asked to arrive to the school no earlier than 4 p.m. but no later than 4:30 p.m. They will gather in the atrium/cafeteria area for their class picture and loading of the buses will begin around 5:15.

The notice goes on to say:
"To allow space for the buses to safely make their turns in and around SHS please...

- Park in the student lot first (until full) - this has the additional benefit of allowing quicker access to the building should the weather be poor.
- Fill up the faculty parking lot once the student lot is full.
- Do not park on the side of the travel lanes where the busses need to make their turns."
