IVY Program Recognizes Graduate

Christina Wiley graduated from the transitional program Friday after developing academic, social and vocational skills.

Christina Wiley received a Certificate of Achievement Award from Swampscott Principal Layne Millington on Friday, Feb. 17 for her outstanding work over the past four years in the Swampscott Institute of Vocational Training of Young Adults, a transitional program for young adults age 19-22.

As a student in the IVY Program, Christina worked hard to develop many skills to prepare her for young adulthood including vocational skills, problem solving skills, social skills, and functional academics. 

Christina has been involved in numerous career internships which include positions at the Jesmond Nursing Home and Northeast Animal Shelter.

And, above all, Christina has participated in many service events that have helped our community.
