High School Seniors Recruiting Dodgeball Players For Tourney

The tournament will help pay for end-of-the-year senior activities.

 

seniors are seeking teams of adults to sign up for a community dodgeball tournament on Wednesday, April 4.

This is one of several activities the class is organizing to raise money for senior class activities including graduation, the senior banquet, and senior prom at the aquarium, said senior Kristin Wheeler.

The games will take place in the high school gym Wednesday, April 4, starting at 7 p.m.

Adults over 18 can form teams of 6 to 8 members.

The high school's dodgeball champs will also compete in the tournament.

The object of dodgeball is to throw soft gym balls at the opposing team (no head shots). If you get hit with the ball, you are out. The object is to get the opposing team members all out.

"We have worked extremely hard as a student council this year to come up with the funds needed to support the end of the year expenses," said Kristin, "and it is a fun time for the community to get involved by either watching or playing."

Spectators will be charged $5.
