1) Newsbit of the Day: Town Planner Pete Kane will present results of a community survey and update the Planning Board on its application for a vision study of downtown and the railroad station. The board meets at 7 at the senior center.

2) Swampscott Scholars: Kelly Jacobs, majoring in nursing, has been named to the UMass Dartmouth Dean's List in recognition of earning a fall semester grade point average of 3.2 or higher of a possible 4.0.

3) Swampscott Athletics: The boys and girls track teams will be in action today competing against Beverly on the track and field behind Swampscott High.
