Denise Kent founded the Denise Kent Law Group in 2010, and practices together with her associate, attorney Suzanne Benfield. Their practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate & Estate Administration, and Elder Law, as well as certain Family Law services, such as Divorce Mediation. Key services include Medicaid Planning and Special Needs Trusts.

Kent is a graduate of Gordon College and Mass School of Law and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Courts of Massachusetts.  She also holds a Certificate in Trust & Estate Planning, and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, ElderCounsel, and WealthCounsel.

Shawn Avery has been with Ameriprise for 9 years, in both field leadership and personal practice. He currently has his NASD Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses as well as all MA Insurance licenses. Avery is a graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
