Most importantly, this is an opportunity for Town Meeting members and other residents to ask questions of the SBC.  According to Joe Crimmins, chairman of the School Building Committee, “as a committee we want to ensure that all Town Meeting members are fully informed about the school building project and process prior to the Special Town Meeting on October 16th.

The School Building Committee, other school district staff and community members will be on-hand to present the status and timeline of achieving the goal of building a new elementary school.  The goal of the Swampscott School Building Committee is to educate the community on the need for a new elementary school, and the opportunity the MSBA is presenting to the town.
