For many, the finale is the arrival of the cow to the field toward the end of the fair, Carin said.

Kids especially enjoy the pony rides and rides.

An added attraction for parents is that the fair is contained within a fenced and walled area.

The hometown feel comes partly from the many departments in town that pitch in to make it possible, Carin said.

The fire department fills the dunk tank with water.

The police department sends an officer to clock the speed of pitches.

DPW arrives with the stage and barrels and line painter for the cow plop grid.

The recreation deparmtent makes the field available.

"In the end (the funds) benefit the school and go back to the kids," she said.

Hosted by the Clarke PTA this event will be bigger and better than ever!

It will feature inflatable rides, carnival games, music, pony rides, face painting and a petting zoo.  Enjoy traditional fair foods such as ice cream, cotton candy, pizza and hot dogs.

The highlight of the day is the Cow Plop Raffle with a $2000 grand prize! Raffle tickets are $20 and only 500 tickets are sold!

Tickets are available at the Clarke School office or by emailing inquiriesclarkepta@gmail.com.
