Bring Swampscott To College With You

Beat homesickness by staying in touch with all things Swampscott.

As the new school year approaches and senior graduates head off to colleges and universities, we know the thought of homesickness can be overwhelming.

So, we're inviting our Swampscott students to stay up-to-date on everything happening in town.

  • Sign up for our free, daily newsletter. When you wake up in the morning (or noon, depending on what time your classes start!) you'll be able to see everything from the latest news in town, and even what the weather is like in Swampscott.
  • Like us on Facebook. From there you'll be able to see familiar faces from home, chat about different events taking place, and voice your opinion on our weekly polls.
  • Download our  Whether you're in class, studying on the quad, or relaxing in your dorm room — you can reach us!
  • Are you doing something cool at your school, like embarking on a political quest, volunteering with a community service group, or simply want to talk about your new college experiences? Send us a picture for our Photo of the Day, or consider blogging for Swampscott Patch. We, and our readers, will love to stay up-to-date on the fun stuff you're doing while you're away from home.
  • Follow us on Twitter, where we post links, re-tweets, and information on all things Swampscott.

Good luck to all of the Swampscott students entering college this year!
