MIND-READING, OR WHAT IS THAT ADMISSIONS OFFICER THINKING?

Lisa Yaeger, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission/Transfer Coordinator at Emerson College, will speak at Swampscott Public Library on Monday, May 12th 7:00pm.  She will explain what major areas the admissions officers look for in your applications.  This program focuses on the application process only, not the financial piece.  There will be a question and answer session at the end of the presentation.  This program is geared to students or parents.  Admission is free.  The library is located at 61 Burrill Street, Swampscott, 781-596-8867.

As Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission and Coordinator of Transfer Recruitment at Emerson College, Lisa takes great satisfaction in helping students find their voice at Emerson. Over the last 20 years, she has found special joy in working with students and families as they navigate the higher education landscape. In her current position, Lisa led the effort to create Emerson’s first articulation agreement, worked to create pipeline programs for first generation students and initiated two community college scholarship programs. Prior to her work at Emerson, Lisa was an executive in the banking field, and held admissions positions at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, and Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. She is a graduate of Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
