The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library invite you to An Evening with Julia Child presented by  The Delvena Theatre  Company .  The program “Meet Julia Child” deals with the life of this beloved French Chef.  This is a live performance featuring Lynne Moulton as Julia Child doing what she does best, talking and cooking. We will learn more about her life from her privileged childhood in California to her becoming one of the culinary legends of all time. The audience will have the opportunity to view Julia on the set of The French Chef television show, an amusing and fun experience! After the performance, the cast will open up for discussion about  Julia Child.

 

The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library provides support to keep the library a valuable resource in our community. The program will take place on Wednesday April 9th from  6:30pm-8:30pm in the library. We will have door prizes, a raffle and refreshments.

Free tickets will be available at the Reference Desk beginning Monday, March 24th. Please call the library for more information at 781-596-8867.
