The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library invite you to Friends of the Family: Getting Started in Genealogy, a presentation by Rhonda McClure, genealogist at the New England Historic Genealogical Society.  Ms. McClure will present ways to begin learning about your family history and will include resources available at the Swampscott Public Library.  She is a nationally recognized professional genealogist, and has published 10 books and numerous articles.  The Friends of the Swampscott Public Library provides support to keep the library as a valuable community resource.  The program will be Wednesday, March 20th at 6:30pm in the library.  We will have door prizes, a raffle, and refreshments. Free tickets available at Reference Desk beginning Wednesday, March 6th.  Please call the library for more information at 781-596-8867.  The library is located at 61 Burrill Street, Swampscott.
