Interested in comics or manga? Learn about the history of comics and get drawing hints, too!

Saturday, March 23rd at 11:00am join artists Andy & Veronica Fish for a program on comic and manga art.  They will discuss the history of comics and the Japanese manga culture.  And they will teach techniques and conventions for drawing characters and creating a comic story.  Recommended for 5th grade and up.  Admission is free and open to all ages.  This program is supported in part by a grant from the Swampscott Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.  The Swampscott Public Library is located at 61 Burrill Street, Swampscott, 781-596-8867.
