9th Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest Finalists Announced

The Swampscott Public Library is proud to announce the finalists in the 9th Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest. The contest is for 7th through 12th graders who enter original poems.

The finalists have been announced for the Swampscott Public Library's Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest.  From the over 200 poems submitted, the judges have selected the following finalists:

From Swampscott Middle School:
Marina Bron-grade 8, Elisa Dunleavy – grade 8, Ryan Frauenholz – grade 8, Stephen Hopkins – grade 8, Matthew Legere – grade 8, Juliana Mora- grade 8, Kiely Quinn – grade 8, Nate Ryan - grade 8, and Jonas Schultz – grade 7.

From Swampscott High School:
Jessica Fagundo-grade 12, Sionna Hopkins-grade12, Michelle LaConte-grade 11, Thomas McEnaney-grade 12, Nora Walker-grade 11, and Claire Weaver-Zeman-grade 11.  

The finalists will all find out what prize they won at the Awards Ceremony.  The Awards Ceremony will be Tuesday, April 23rd at 7:00pm at the Swampscott Public Library at 61 Burrill Street, 781-596-8867.  The award winners will be reading their original poetry.  Dessert will be served.  The public is welcome.
