8th Annual Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest - Results

15 teen poets named finalists at Swampscott Public Library

 

The prizes have been announced for the Swampscott Public Library's 8th Annual Lee Golomb Cadiff Teen Poetry Contest.  From the over 200 poems submitted, the judges selected 15 finalists.

From Swampscott Middle School:
Will Cronin – grade 7 RISING STAR, Alicia Fitzgerald – grade 8 SECOND PRIZE, Ryan Frauenholz – grade 7 HONORABLE MENTION, Emma Ghirardini – grade 8 HONORABLE MENTION, Jackie Kostenko – grade 7 DONOR PRIZE, Fiorella Moyse – grade 8 LIBRARY STAFF PRIZE, Megan Mentuck – grade 8 FIRST PRIZE, Zach Turner – grade 7 HONORABLE MENTION, Charlotte Westhoven – grade 7 HONORABLE MENTION, and Nathan Young – grade 7 THIRD PRIZE.

Jessica Fagundo - grade 11 THIRD PRIZE, Olivia Forman - grade 9 HONORABLE MENTION, Thomas McEnaney - grade 11 FIRST PRIZE, Phil Smith - grade 12 HONORABLE MENTION, and Claire Weaver-Zeman-grade 10 SECOND PRIZE.
